Sri Narayana Gurudharma Trust is a prayer fellowship formed in 1998 at Mala as its center, by about twenty devoted followers who were deeply inspired by the blessings of the Guru. Registered under the Charitable Trusts Act with the number 48/98, this collective has grown to become a role model for all Sri Narayana organizations through its significant progress in the path of service.From an initial group of 20 members, it has now expanded to become the proud movement of nearly 2,000 individuals. The Trust now aims to increase its membership from 2,000 to 20,000 in the coming years.So far, the Trust has already established five public limited companies.Mala, the land that once gifted Kerala with a distinguished Chief Minister and an eminent Agriculture Minister, though now a part of the blossoming Kodungallur region, still shines as a gem in the state’s political history. Today, that renowned description finds new relevance as it is rightfully attributed to a visionary movement — the Sree Narayana Gurudharmam Trust in Mala, which now embodies the same legacy of excellence and leadership.
Gurudharma Chits Limited, Gurudharma Nidhi Limited, Gurudharma Fincorp, Gurudharma Trading Company, and Gurudharma Mission Hospital Limited have collectively emerged as the hallmark of modern Mala.As the inaugural venture of Gurudharma Trading Company, Arundhati Vasishtha Jewellery has already captured significant attention and established a strong market presence.Gurudharma Mission Hospital, a seven-storey, NABH-accredited multispecialty facility, stands as a cornerstone of healthcare in Mala and its surrounding regions. With five super-specialties, eight specialties, and fully equipped, state-of-the-art laboratories and operation theaters, the hospital has redefined quality healthcare and has become a symbol of trust and excellence in the community.
Alongside the establishment of a premier hospital complex, efforts are steadily progressing to realize the visionary goal of developing a network of paramedical educational institutions. As this noble mission advances, it has also undertaken a historic responsibility — to provide support and stability to a sister organization in crisis.This directive, rooted in the spiritual guidance of the Guru, involves the merger of the Gurudeva Trust in North Paravur with the Sree Narayana Gurudharma Trust. The objective is to ensure the smooth and sustainable operation of the Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science and Technology (SNGIST) in Manjaly, now functioning under the aegis of the Gurudharma Trust.

In addition to being a magnificent hospital complex, efforts are also underway to realize the dream project of a chain of paramedical educational institutions. While these efforts are progressing, a historic mission has also been entrusted to this grand initiative—to provide support and shelter to a struggling sister organization. This mission, divinely assigned, is the merger of the Gurudeva Trust in Paravur with the Sree Narayana Gurudharma Trust, ensuring the smooth operation of the Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science and Technology (SNGIST) in Manjali, which is currently under the former.
The campus includes an engineering college, an arts & science college, a polytechnic, an MBA college, and advanced laboratories, all spread across approximately 17 acres, with over 3 lakh square feet of built-up space. Taking over this institution, which had fallen into crisis and was facing bank seizure, was a great challenge. However, the general body of the Sree Narayana Gurudharma Trust viewed it as an offering to the Guru and believed supporting such an initiative formed in his name is indeed a sacred act of devotion.
Through the realization of this extremely complex takeover mission, the vision of a chain of paramedical institutions alongside the great hospital is being gradually fulfilled. Moreover, with the merger of the Gurudeva Trust into the Sree Narayana Gurudharma Trust, even grander and broader goals are now within reach. Accordingly, the trust is advancing with large-scale development plans.
It is a sad reality that until now, there has not been a single application from the Sree Narayana community in connection with the establishment of a private university envisioned in the new education policy of the government. The Sree Narayana Gurudharma Trust aims to address this shortcoming. The trust’s mode of operation gives importance not to bank loans, but to financial support gathered through the cooperation of Sree Narayana followers. The success of the Gurudharma Mission Hospital has already proven that such a grand project can be accomplished this way. It is also worth mentioning that the trust had earlier implemented a version of the state government’s KIFBI model and achieved success.
